Transit Guarantees (CCG / TC31 / TC33)
Comprehensive, individual cash and individual voucher cover arranged for you.
Every T1 movement must be backed by a transit guarantee. The right type depends on volume, value and customer preference. A Comprehensive Guarantee (CCG) is held by an authorised party and covers many movements at once — efficient for regular flows. A TC31 is an individual cash guarantee lodged movement-by-movement; a TC33 is an individual voucher guarantee, used where a customer prefers to provide their own physical cover. We hold our own CCG so most movements are covered automatically; for one-offs and high-value moves we arrange and lodge TC31 or TC33 instead. Either way the guarantee detail is part of the declaration package, not a separate exercise you have to manage.

Frequently asked
Do I need my own CCG to use your T1 service?
No. We hold our own Comprehensive Guarantee, so most movements are covered without you needing your own.
Are there limits on guarantee value?
Yes — both CCG and individual guarantees have value limits set by HMRC. We confirm cover ahead of lodgement for high-value movements.
