T1 Transit Declarations
T1 documents prepared and lodged on NCTS in 30–60 minutes.
A T1 transit declaration is the document that lets non-Union goods move under duty and VAT suspension between customs offices across the UK, the EU and the wider Common Transit Convention area. We build the declaration end-to-end: we collect your commercial invoice, packing list, EORI numbers, HS codes and route, validate the data against NCTS rules, allocate guarantee cover, lodge the declaration on the UK's New Computerised Transit System and return the Transit Accompanying Document (TAD) with its 18-character MRN. From a clean file we target 30 to 60 minutes during UK working hours and a few hours overnight. If a declaration is queried by HMRC, we work the query directly with the office of departure rather than passing it back to you. The result is a driver who arrives at the border with a valid TAD every time and an exporter who is no longer the bottleneck on the move.

Frequently asked
What information do you need to start a T1?
Commercial invoice, packing list, GB EORI of the consignor and consignee, HS codes (4–8 digit minimum), gross and net weights, packages, route (office of departure → office of destination), expected start time and any seal numbers.
Can you handle goods that are still in transit shed at a port?
Yes — we routinely lodge T1s for goods already cleared into a temporary storage facility, working the timing back from the planned vehicle arrival.
Do you arrange the transit guarantee?
Yes. Most movements use our Comprehensive Guarantee (CCG) cover, with TC31 individual cash or TC33 individual voucher available where preferred or required.
