Our mission
Our mission is simple: make the UK border feel like a non-event for every haulier, forwarder and exporter who uses us. That means lodging a clean T1 declaration on NCTS before the truck reaches the gate, making sure every detail behind it is accurate, allocating the right transit guarantee, and being reachable in the language our customers actually work in. We don't aim to be the biggest customs agency — we aim to be the one a fleet manager is glad to pick up the phone to at 3am when a load is sat at Dover with the sailing booked.
Our story
T1 Transit Declarations is part of PCSL Ltd, a Cambridgeshire customs team with roots long enough to remember pre-Brexit frontier work and fresh enough to have grown up inside HMRC's New Computerised Transit System and the modern Common Transit Convention process. As UK ↔ EU and UK ↔ Türkiye transit traffic grew after Brexit we saw a clear pattern — exporters and forwarders losing hours and sometimes whole sailings to T1s lodged late, queries left unanswered overnight, and generic brokers who could not explain a guarantee mismatch in plain language. We split off T1 Transit Declarations as a dedicated service line with three rules: 30–60 minute T1s as standard, 24/7 bilingual cover, and end-to-end tracking through to office-of-destination discharge. Everything on this site flows from those three promises. The team sits next to the wider PCSL customs office in St Neots, so you get the reassurance of an established parent company and the speed of a focused one.
